The Best Grapes You Have Ever Had! (August/Sept.)
Come one, come all for the much anticipated Apple Haven GRAPE HARVEST! From mid-August through early September we have the sweetest, juiciest, and most flavorful grapes you have ever had. No joke!
These are NOT your average grapes... In fact, we would prefer to call them "indigo-berries" or "flavor bombs" or "fruit of the vine" because they are THAT much better than what you can get in even the best grocery stores!
We planted our vineyard in 2010 and two years later it produced the first harvest of delicious grapes. Every year we painstakingly prepare the vines for the next harvest, adhering to a strict organic farming regimen.
Make your own juice (SO GOOD! You have never had grape juice that is this flavorful) or wine, jelly, or just enjoy them off the stem. Plan a family outing and bring friends (you are welcome to make a day of it - plenty of room for a picnic!). You'll enjoy meeting our friendly sheep and chickens!
Summer 2022 pricing: $5 per person entrance fee (kids under age 5 free), then $2/lb grapes (10-pound minimum per reservation).

IMPORTANT: this is a non-commercial farm - we are a very small operation and have made our fruits, vegetables, and lamb available to friends who care about delicious and organic produce. Our gardens, orchards, and and vineyard are at our home, located just outside York Springs (9412 Carlisle Street). From the main road, you'll go up a long driveway (please drive slowly - maximum 15mph) as we share this with our neighbors and then park at our home at the very end of the driveway.

- Outdoor dining is available on our patio and you are welcome to use it. You may also consider an old-fashioned picnic on the grass!
- If you are making wine: the amount of fresh grapes (on stems) needed for 5 gallons wine is 85-90lbs. Please be sure to ask about current picking conditions.

We specialize in cultivating heirloom vegetables and selected berries (jostaberries, blackberries, red currants, gooseberries, raspberries, and blueberries).

Lamb
If you're a lamb fan - we think that this is the best lamb you can get your hands on. If you are an undecided lamb consumer, or even a skeptic, we encourage you to try our lamb - we have had so many people say that it is one of the best meats of any kind that they have ever had. The meat is moist, flavorful, and easy to prepare. 100% milk and grass-fed, free range lamb.
